This poll isn't for me. Em is joining Milliways ( forgotten_will forgotten_will forgotten_will ) and Modern Age and she can't use messengers. She HAS Msn, but again, she can't use it. So we're trying to figure out a way around this or something that can discreetly run messengers but is easy to hide. The OS is Windows 7.

I know I've heard of running AIM through GChat but I have never figured out how the hell to set it up. And are the messenger gadgets more trouble than they're worth?

At one point I would have highly recommended messenger, but I haven't been invited to chat in well over a year, and use email when I have something to say to people, and I get on fine.
