Nah. Blind faith is the wrong term when someone is reading it like you do. I think that just in general, you are okay with character arcs because you are simply okay with them. You have told me before that a large part of why you read is for the perceptions of madness. If 84 is a chapter you are singling out? Well, is that not just the same thing?
There's nothing wrong with having little criticism. Anyone who says that is dumb. Just keep reading how you are if it makes you happy. Does it really matter why?
