Why did nobody ever warn me that Boston Legal is a crack so fine that one line of it will get you addicted for life?

Oh I am so punny hoho. I think it's the affect of an overdose of William Shatner.

No seriously, I never watch current TV ever, except the occasional episode here or there. 'Current tv' being anything that's aired in the past five years. Yet I seem to be marathoning this thing like it's my last day on Earth.

Of course, it has at least two of my most favourite actors ever AND a really gay dynamic duo, so I think it was probably inevitable.

Also, in regards to tv, why is Betty White suddenly and randomly the biggest thing to hit the planet since the asteroid split the moon? Oh my god I think she is cool, but I just do not get it, especially since she's never stopped being regularly in tv. Why not before, why now?!

ps: IS IT NORMAL FOR CATS WHO ARE FIXED TO HUMP LIKE RABBITS ANYWAY BECAUSE THIS IS REALLY KIND OF TWITCHY

(5:58:52 AM):     Is it wrong that the fact they got married because Denny has alzheimer's makes me go "...so is he going to forget he's straight and only married to protect his money someday? WILL HE BECOME GAY BY FORGETFULNESS?!"

(6:00:34 AM):     Alan's gotta have it for him or something though, because when Denny was all I AM MARRYING THIS WOMAN I MET and then left, they did a super significant pan away slowly at the end of the ep with Alan looking like someone dropped an acme roadrunner brick on him.

(6:01:15 AM):     XDD
(6:01:18 AM):     I agree
(6:02:23 AM):     The way they played with the gay between them makes me wonder just how many fanfictions there are. Because I am tempted to read them, even though a part of my mind says "NO!" to old men gay sex (it's probably Bill).
kamehamepwned 6:02 am
(6:02:23 AM):     Alan is so creepy though. "He told me he has dreams about me. In one, I was just a head. A head he carried around and kept him company. And occasionally I would whisper dirty things into his ear."
(6:02:38 AM):     And dude, the only boston legal fanfic is slash about them, pretty much.
(6:02:46 AM):     Like, I am not exagerating at all.

PowerPufPrin8 6:02 am
(6:02:55 AM):     Figures, XD

kamehamepwned 6:03 am
(6:03:21 AM):     If I ever wrote it, it would go like this

(6:04:14 AM):

Alan: You know that I'm imagining you're really a hot cuban chick with a pineapple bra, right?
Denny: Same here, except my fantasy is far too brazen to bother with hiding her goodies.

GO READ GOODBYE CHAINS IF YOU'RE NOT. I mean, I assume you are already, because you are all well informed people with good taste. But just in case you're not reading it, quench your good taste with more awesome. What's that in the distance, even? Oh, it seems to be a handy download for the entire first arc!

I've been following this comic since it was a tiny little idea sitting on Hunt's personal journal, the tiny little spark in her eye kept on super-secret lock. I've never stopped following it since and I can't say that for any other comic. I have ADHD, I move back and forth frequently. This is the one, singular thing that has never let me go (and I cannot even say that about Gorillaz).

I honestly believe this is the most well written comic on the internet. This opinion isn't based in story or character likability, though both of those also earn an A+. This opinion is based on the fact that the authors are meticulous past the point of meticulous, and will redo the smallest things to be historically accurate if it's caught. But usually they don't slip up. They accommodate the readers in all the best and worst ways, because they're comic fans too. And because you can tell they are genuinely fans of what they're writing as well.

You can tell when a writer or artist or a duo has a deep passion for the story. You can tell here from page one. You can tell from their stories about how this is made. You can tell by the fact they so obviously judge each page with one rule of thumb: "if I don't enjoy this page, nobody else will, either".

Despite team shuffling along the years, if you read the archives, they still flow smoothly together. Most comics suffer when someone else comes in to work on it. Not so here. And things that existed years ago are being expanded on now, establishing a readership trust that yes, we will actually find out what we want to know, as long as we're patient.

I'm willing to be patient, because it's worth it. And I think you should discover why it's worth it, too.

PS: For an added bonus, you can never go wrong with pointed dogs.

I.

I kinda wish it hadn't.

I'm going to die once I figure this out, aren't I?

So I'm you know, doing character research since I'm going off hiatus at the bar and Ansible as well as joining another game. The Ender's Game stuff is easy, I need like twenty minutes and I'll have both characters written out. Neku is okay since right now, anything that affects him beyond what I've played to is something he's forgotten. Riku's a little harder - I've got later Riku down, but since I'm rebooting him to before the first game, it's at a point I've speculated a lot about but never actually played. Lots of script rereads for me.

Kaworu's probably the worst, simply because the manga is a lot more cruel and refreshing myself on that as well as having to watch Knocking on Heaven's Door several times, I'm having a wonderful time with that! But the one that probably gives me the most headache is Noodle. I have a lot to draw from, mainly with We Are The Dury. But unfortunately, more often than not, I seem to be asking myself:

What the hell is this little girl talking about?!

I mean, I follow her most of the way through generally, but there's just a certain point she hits where it's kind of like "...and...  but... what?" But apparently her VA had the same exact problem, so LOL.

Crossing so many character research over at the same time (which I love doing), this one just... yeah, it makes Shinji and Noodle a little too similar for my tastes. If I have to think about it they actually have more things in common than that. You never really see the comparisons and contrasts in these things until you're sitting and listening closely. OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE

I suppose this explains why when someone else was test-running Noodle on me, her and Kaworu got on awfully well.

kamehamepwned (11:57:55 PM):    Basically, all this really adds up to is, I am somewhat frightened by how well a man in his 30s interprets the woes of a teenage girl.

Aura da Gamer (11:59:39 PM):    It means nothing and everything. And now that I've said it, it's canon.

(Yes, I realize this post proves I'm exactly like Kaworu and Noodle and talk to much and too far so nobody understands me. I CAME TO TERMS WITH THIS LONG AGO).

But switching back and forth between Evangelion shit and Gorillaz interviews while trying to clean my room is kind of blowing my mind. Did someone turn the lights off in here?
