Sep. 22nd, 2011 03:04 amThis computer is the first computer I've ever had that can not only hold and install the Adobe CS5 Extended Master Suite, but run it without any troubles too. Oh my God I need to marry this thing. Except that's sort of creepy and hah.
I figured out it's pretty much the money I put into this. Or was supposed to. Because before all the coupons and sales and discounts I got, this thing costs over $1000. I got it for $530. I have never bought a laptop over $899 and I haven't had a computer that cost more than $750 in several years. So it's like... I always figured, it doesn't matter if I spend less because it's the same specs, right? Yeah, sure, but it runs so much better. If I ever have to get another one in the future, I'll make sure to keep all this in mind. Except I think I've got a few good years on this one, I specifically didn't install the highest possible specs so that I can just upgrade it later. I've got a whole upgrade plan. It's super over the top but after all the issues I've had since last year? Yeah, I don't give a fuck about over the top. I'm playing safe.
The only thing I have no idea what to do about is the speakers sound spectacular... but they're on the BOTTOM OF THE LAPTOP. How do I deal with that? I don't want the sound to keep getting screwed up because it's sitting on a surface! WTF?
I HAVE SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON I CANNOT EVEN. I am going to have a fantastic week finishing all this stuff. I actually am not being sarcastic at all. I look forward to this.
Someday I will stop posting uselessly about how my computer is so cool, but this post is not one of those!
(Fancy that, I actually update my LJ when I have a working computer. I hadn't attributed it to that at all, but I guess that was the mental block. Huh!)
