So I can never figure out why I get why people have their issues with Soul Eater and why I think it's all valid and yet not feel them myself. I've always figured that part of it is because different people have different things they look for in reading, so what is one person's great fact is another person's most hated fact.

Okay? So I started thinking about that more today. And I just realized that somehow I've developed blind face in Ohkubo and that's why I can never get in line. So instead of going "well, this makes me mad" I go "I guess this'll make sense later, I must be missing something, my reading comprehension's gotta be subpar, I guess it's not a mistake, really it's not a mistake." and there are no major exceptions. (stuff like NEVER SHOWING ANY INTERACTIONS BETWEEN SID AND BLACK*STAR piss me off, though.)

This makes me feel really, really uncomfortable and I'm not sure why. I THINK THIS MAY ALSO BE REALLY, REALLY UNHEALTHY. Plus, really, that sort of reading? It works in some places? But not others :|

Like.

I basically want 84 to die in a small fire. I've been going IT'LL GET FIXED IT'LL MAKE SENSE SO I NEED TO CHILL but uh. Still waiting on that one getting fixed.

So wait, I can actually be mad at that?!?!

Holy shit, this actually is a brand new concept to me.

That's a really good point. I may just spend a little too much time on meta, haha .__.

And I actually really loved that confrontation, it's one of my favourite bits of the series. I guess I just feel like there should have been content? Like he paced Soul's resolution way too fast for what it was.
