I was at the hospital earlier this week because I had the worst CVS episode I've ever had. Then they were like "well we're discharging you quick but you might get pneumonia". I'm really sick now so let's, uh, just hope that it's not actually pneumonia.
At least I feel less like crying for trying to use a computer today (SO HEAVY SO MUCH PAIN). That's progress, right?

Date: 2011-08-20 02:09 am (UTC)It's Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. Basically what happens is that a person has episodes where they can't stop throwing up for a certain amount of time. this has some pretty good stuff on it.
Basically without treatment I literally can't eat (my stomach loses most capability to hold food) and I'll spend two to three days every three weeks throwing up constantly and then have to go to the ER to get fluids and IV meds. They were actually having to debate some sort of feeding port but they finally found me a stable treatment in June that's been doing really well. But then I had this episode again. :X
Bright side is, they think they figured out rescue meds I can use at home to prevent from having to go to the ER, so at least there's that!
