Anyone else follow
College Roomies From Hell! ? Because man, I just caught up and the badassary is radiating. As someone on the forums put, Michael gonna shank Satan real bad, yo.
But okay, I'm pretty lost on this. I
love the fact Mike is the Archangel Michael, okay. When
Within started running in 2008, I was so so excited. When Mike came back to life - and not zombie Mike,
our Mike - I was visiting
rinnakins and it made me react so loud that she thought I was dying.
Here's what I don't get with my lack of biblical knowledge. The idea is, Michael made a deal with God, and humanity's the thing on the platter. God thinks they deserve to die, Michael does not. So God permits him to make a visit to Earth to try to lead the people towards some sort of good. If he doesn't, the humans go bam. But he has to go with all his memories lost, including what the hell his plan even is.
It's pretty standard for a biblical story, as far as what I do know. Bargaining with God. With a twist of Fenchurch on the end.
But becoming like Mike, if born without memories, could Michael become like him? I mean, he's a sweetheart, but when he's not he's not, he's an absolute terror. Conniving, manipulative, dark predictions, obsessive, both protective and being prone to latching on - in very bad ways. Recently he tricked two guys into summoning Satan, knowing they would lose some very important things in the process, if they were lucky. He does it anyway.
There's been a long stream of redemption, and I think all of this is very neat. I just don't understand what the biblical's concept of Michael is like.
Any info would be awesome.
